Jana Toner

Jana Toner is an accomplished nonprofit and government affairs executive with extensive experience in public service and Veteran advocacy. She has held senior roles in two presidential administrations, including as Deputy Assistant to the President and Chief of Staff to Second Lady Karen Pence during President Donald J. Trump’s first administration. At the White House, she led high-impact initiatives addressing mental health, Veteran suicide prevention, and Military Spouse employment, managing significant budgets and cross-functional teams.

Jana’s commitment to service extends beyond government. As Executive Director of Partnerships at Hiring Our Heroes, a program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, she played a key role in expanding corporate engagement and sustaining long-term partnerships. She also served as Senior Vice President at American Corporate Partners (ACP), where she worked closely with corporate leaders, government stakeholders, and Veteran service organizations to advance career opportunities for Veterans and Military Spouses.

A proud graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where she was a collegiate track and cross country athlete, Jana lives in Washington, DC with her husband, Michael Toner, and their children.
